The Elders - Burning Man Theme Camp 2009

"Ahh, here's the one for us - Brie, Bach, and Talk.

After a serious search, because it's location was printed incorrectly, we found it. However by the time we got there, there was no more Brie and the Bach had been turned off because no one could hear it. So we drank wine from boxes and talked. This is where we met the Elders,

This is what I think we did last year: (2005)
(12) 20 oz packages of Brie
(12) magnums of wine.
We had 12 people. This year we have 17 or possibly 19 if Rick & Pat decide to stay with us)

Here's a guestimate for this year:

People (us plus visitors)
Mon: 12
Tues 12
Wed: 22
Thur: 24
Fri: Skipped
Sat: 22
Sun: 20
Total: 112
Brie at 1oz/serving* 3servings/person * 112 = 336 oz
= 17 packages
Wine 3oz/serving *2 per person *112 = 672 oz
Standard bottles 25 oz) = 26 bottles

The Brie, Bach and Talk is "the Elders" Burning Man Participation event. The idea is to have it as simple as possible.

Times: 4:00 to 5:00
When: everyday that there is at least one person that wants to be the host or hostess. Last year we had a couple of days where everyone wanted to be elsewhere, so we just didn't put up the sign. Mostly, though, we all joined in.
